Coastal fishery resources: Data collection and harmonization for the officers from SAARC Nations (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka)

Indo-Dutch training course for 20 Dutch and 20 Indian graduate students on integrated coastal zone management with special reference to social sciences (every year since 2005)

Indo-US Summer training for senior undergrad studentsfrom various US Universities on coastal pollution mapping and coastal environmental sciences

Indo-flux workshop and networking for the establishmentof INDO-FLUX Network in line with Ameriflux for CO2 and other GHG measurements at various sites in India

Responsible for creating a consortium of 11 coastal institutions in India to conduct research on multiple aspects of coastal management under the broad umbrella of the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) of which I am the first founder-Director.

Presently involved in networking institutions and organizations in the South Asia region through the SA LOICZ Node
